In my machine quilting journey, I started as a longarm quilter because I thought, "It's too hard to quilt a large quilt on a small sewing machine!" I quilted thousands of quilts for others and traveled the world teaching machine quilting.
Over time, though, I fell in love with quilting on a home sewing machine. While I still own two longarm machines, I quilt most of my quilts on my home sewing machine.
I've learned that it's NOT too hard to quilt a large quilt on a home sewing machine! With a well-basted quilt and a few simple strategies, I can quilt any size quilt on my home sewing machine.

Three decades into her quilting life, Debby fell ill with a rare autoimmune disease. She learned that among all of her treatments, quilting was the best medicine as she fought to regain some control over her deteriorating body. Once again active, Debby is now passionate about helping quilters gain confidence in their machine quilting skills so they too can quilt their way through life.
